THPT Comment: Great buy for Naushad Jivraj, chief executive of Queensway Group, which started life in 1973, with some modest low-budget hotels and now has several hotels worldwide under various brands including Accor – Ibis Styles, in Nairobi and the Montagu Place hotel in London Marylebone and recently rebranded the 7 Tune UK hotels to Point A. The Sloane Club has long been a members club, with accomodation and it is good to hear that Queensway and Clearbell both state that they will respect the heritage in any future refurb and management style.
