Hilton has announced plans to open six hotels under it’s focused service brands in Germany, Italy, the UK and Poland – including the group’s first ever site in Plymouth.
Located in a prime spot overlooking Plymouth Hoe, Hilton Garden Inn Plymouth will be home to 150 guest bedrooms and will be Hilton’s first property in the British port city.
The hotel will also feature a skybar, offering panoramic views of the world-famous natural harbour Plymouth Sound.
The development of Hilton Garden Inn Plymouth is expected to begin in late 2023, following a franchise agreement with Propiteer Hotels Limited.
Propiteer Hotels was founded in with the ambition to develop, manage and own a portfolio of branded hotel assets, located in city centres and high transient destinations across the UK and Ireland. Currently they have a Hampton by Hilton Exeter Airport and at Imperial War Museum at Duxford, a Hilton Garden Inn at Peterborough and a Moxy by Marriott in Belfast.

The new opening will join more than 60 Hilton Garden Inn and 100 Hampton by Hilton hotels currently trading in Europe.
In the past year, Hilton opened 23 Hilton Garden Inn and Hampton by Hilton properties in Europe, with entries in new markets such as Wales, with Hilton Garden Inn Snowdonia, and Latvia with the newly opened Hampton by Hilton Riga Airport.
