TUI Group to Expand Hotel Portfolio in 2019

Location: Europe: Top destinations in Spain, Greece and Turkey, with some others that will expand the TUI offering in Italy, Egypt, Tunisia and Croatia.

Name: 12 new TUI Sensimar and 3 TUI Family Life hotels.

No. of Keys: The announcement will take the portfolio of TUI’s three international concept hotel brands from 88 to 103 hotels.

As part of this expansion, TUI will also debut a TUI concept brand in the Greek island of Santorini with the TUI Sensimar Meltemi Blue.

In addition, TUI Sensatori Barut Fethiye Resort in Turkey will be extended with the construction of a new building next to the hotel.

TUI Group’s overall hotel portfolio currently comprises 380 hotels and resorts, 50 of which are operated by third-party hoteliers.

“We are also driving our growth roadmap in the hotel segment further ahead through our TUI Blue, Robinson and TUI Magic Life brands and our long-standing joint venture partners such as Riu.”
