Pan Pacific Hotels Adds Two new properties in Toronto, Canada and Tokyo, Japan

Owner Toronto: In January 2019, Atlanta based hotel owner, operator and developer, Hotel Equities, with a portfolio of 140 mostly mid-range hotels, across the USA and Canada, were selected as management firm for the (then three-star Westin Prince), which was undergoing renovations. The owner is the catchy-named 2465855 Ontario Ltd, headed up by Ms Maggie Zhang, VP.
Hotel Equities is headed up by Frederick “Coach” Cerrone.
Buyer – Toronto: The Westin Prince Hotel, a landmark in northeast Toronto on York Mills Road, will soon become Pan Pacific Toronto.
Pan Pacific Toronto will be the fifth hotel for Pan Pacific Hotels Group in North America, joining other hotels in Vancouver, Whistler in British Columbia and Seattle.
The hotel’s evolution started earlier this year, with a $15 million revitalisation for the property’s 409 guestrooms and public spaces.
Originally opened in 1974 as the Prince Hotel Toronto, the property was one of the first and longest-running hotels to be awarded the AAA Four Diamond accreditation in Canada.

In addition to several dining venues, Pan Pacific Toronto will also have 30,000 square feet of meeting spaces including 18 meeting rooms and a ballroom for up to 700 guests. Most of the meeting rooms have windows and natural light. Events are also possible on the greens.

Towering at 188 metres, Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel, a Pan Pacific Partner Hotel, dominates the skyline of Tokyo’s trendy Shibuya. It offers guestrooms which are unusually spacious in this city. Spread over 40 floors, all 411 rooms open up to unobstructed views of the glittering nightscape and Mount Fuji on clear days.
The hotel is surrounded by the famous Shibuya Crossing, Shibuya train station, Hachiko Memorial Statue and Taito business district. Shopping opportunities abound in Shibuya and adjacent Shinjuku and Ginza, both just one train station away.

A comprehensive suite of wellness facilities, including an indoor heated pool with natural lighting, a large Japanese-style sauna, and modern gym.
