Athens Marriott Hotel Takes Brand Back into the Greek Capital

The sophisticated interior design of the lobby, reception and meeting rooms by Wimberly Interiors London fuels the imagination, blending deep blue and gold colours, inspired by the nearby port and ancient Greek jewellery.
The décor evokes a contemporary interpretation of classic Greek architecture and rich cultural heritage.
The culinary highlight of the hotel is the Made in Athens restaurant.
The restaurant has an open kitchen where chefs prepare breakfast and bake traditional bread throughout the day in the wood-fired oven.
In addition to the panoramic views, gastronomic delights and refined interiors, the hotel is the ideal venue for a memorable event, with eight versatile meeting rooms featuring high-tech facilities, and total event space of 1,067 square metres.
There will also be an outdoor pool and well-equipped fitness centre.
In recent years Marriott has also opened two Autograph Collection hotels on the island of Crete, Domes of Elounda and Domes Noruz Chania.
THPT Comment: Their original hotel – The Ledra Marriott became a Grand Hyatt after Henderson Park & Hines JV who bought the hotel in 2017, for a record low price of €33m, after the previous owner de-listed Marriott from the hotel.
