Juliana Hotel Brussels (Brussels, Belgium)

Behind the white façade of the listed neo-classical building lies Juliana Hotel Brussels comprising 43 guestrooms and suites, an Italian-inspired fine-dining restaurant and a wellness centre. Italian designer Eugenio Manzoni leaned into the wealthy heritage of the property, layering all floors with rare pieces from the hotel owner’s private collection. Exquisite motifs meet one-of-a-kind sculptures and dramatic wallpaper to create an elegant space. This autumn, the hotel will offer a series of exclusive private tours where guests can immerse themselves in the stories of five of the city’s treasured landmarks, including the Opera House and The Grand Place.

ON Residence (Thessaloniki, Greece)

Formerly an iconic restaurant – Olympos Naoussa – the rebirth of ON Residence sees the addition of 60 lavishly designed rooms and suites and the Tiger Loop bar. Every inch of the heritage property has been carefully restored and pays homage to an eclectic past, once the heartland of a jet-setting clientele of artists, celebrities and politicians. The sea-front hotel leads a revival of the city, bringing culture and cuisine to a deftly glamorous setting.

Cascioni Eco Retreat (Localita Cascioni, Italy)

Since launching in October 2021, SLH continues to unearth more properties for its sustainable hotel portfolio – The Considerate Collection. Cascioni Eco Retreat is a family-owned, secluded Ecolabel-certified retreat nestled within an olive grove and a protected lagoon oasis. It’s perched over the rugged northern coastline of Sardinia and features 15 guestrooms and a tranquil Mediterranean Spa.

Naturalis Bio Resort & Spa (Martano, Italy)

Naturalis Bio Resort & Spa is the reincarnation of an 18th century Puglian masseria farming estate, which has been restored following the principles of bio-architecture into an intimate 14-room hideaway nuzzled into the hills of Southern Italy. True to it’s roots, the estate’s fields are still tended organically, supplying the kitchen with abundant produce, as well as beauty extracts for the spa.

Desa Hay (Bali, Indonesia)

Six Jabu villas and a Joglo-style restaurant make up Desa Hay, an adults-only eco-sanctuary which opened earlier this year. Built in harmony with nature, 40% of the resort’s land has purposefully been left as green space and the resort exclusively hires Indonesian staff.  Guest experiences are centred around the Balinese culture, from local cooking classes, sunrise hikes on Mount Batur, walks in the Jatiluwih Rice Terraces and spiritual experiences at Besakih Temple.

CPH Pevero Hotel (Porto Cervo, Italy)

73 hotels and counting, SLH’s expansion in Italy continues to spotlight standout properties like CPH Pevero Hotel, a resort in Costa Smeralda surrounded by water with five lagoon-like swimming pools crisscrossed with waterfalls. There is also beachside bliss on the stunning Piccolo Pevero, with a private area for hotel guests. All 100 rooms have a balcony or private terrace with enchanting views, and there’s a full-service spa and six restaurants and bars.

Lupaia (Torrita di Siena, Italy)

Formerly a goat farm, Lupaia is a sustainably-focused agriturismo in the heart of Tuscany. The country estate dates back to 1622 and has 12 unique rooms and suites spread over five rural farmhouse buildings. Rustic yet luxurious, they feature comfortable beds and modern walk-in showers paired with traditional tiles, exposed brick, bleached wood and ornate antique furnishings.

TAGO Tulum (Tulum, Yucatan, Mexico)

Set on a private stretch of white beaches in Mexico’s Quintana Roo, TAGO Tulum blends in with the verdant jungle backdrop and balmy beach paradise. There’s palm-shaded relaxation and round-the-clock service, with design touches showcasing back-to-nature luxury. Thatched roofs and authentic Mayan stone give the retreat a laidback, beach-hut style, where guests can awake to the sound of the crashing surf, followed by a soothing soak in their private plunge pool, a feature available in all 23 guestrooms. The TAGO restaurant fuses Yucatán ingredients with international classics.
